Link U-Pass to OCTA Wave App

Download the OCTA WAVE App

Go to the About Wave page to download the OCTA Wave app specific to your mobile device.

Open the Wave App and select ‘Register’ from the Home Screen

Fill in Registration Fields and select “Continue.” Note: students must use their campus email (@csu.fullerton.edu) to avoid an error

After completing registration, you will get a confirmation email from [email protected] to ‘Activate’ your account. Select the “Activate” button.

After you have activated your account, return to the Wave app homepage and “Sign In” with your campus email and account password.

Navigate to the “My Cards” tab and select “Add New Card”

Select “Create a virtual card”

Select “Create Card”. OPTIONAL: You may name your card; otherwise, proceed to the next steps by selecting “Create Card”.

Navigate to the “My Cards” tab, and select ‘Card Options’

Select ‘Institutions’

Select “Link Institution” then search “California State University, Fullerton” or “CSUF”. Please select the “Cal State Fullerton Students” option. You will see a successful message once you have linked to the institution.

Return to “My Cards” tab and select “Card Options” button and select “Passes”.

Under “CSUF [Spring/Fall] Semester Pass”, select “Add Pass” then press “Order Now”.

A success message will flash briefly on the screen, and the pass will be loaded to your account
