Faculty/Staff: Adding a Vehicle to Your Account

This article shows how faculty and staff can add a vehicle to their parking account.

Adding a vehicle to your account does not automatically attach it to your permit. View instructions on how to add a vehicle to your permit.

2. Select the Parking Services app to open the parking portal.

  1.  Type "parking" into the search bar.
  2.  Select Parking Services.

3. Select Vehicles from the menu bar at the top of the page.

4. Click Add Vehicle.

5. Enter the vehicle license plate and select the plate type, state/province, and make of the vehicle from the drop-down menus. Then, click Next.

Vehicle year, model, color, and style are optional.

If there is no license plate, enter the full Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) into the VIN field and enter the last seven digits into the Plate Number field.

  1. Enter your Plate Number.
  2. Confirm your Plate Number.
  3. Select your Plate Type from the drop-down menu.
  4. Select your plate's State/Province from the drop-down menu.
  5. Select your vehicle's Make from the drop-down menu.
  6. Click Next.

6. The vehicle will be added to your account.

Vehicle details cannot be edited in the Parking Portal.  To make changes, contact Parking and Transportation Services by submitting a Parking Inquiry Form.
